Due to rising stress in the veterinary industry and our clinic especially, we have made the decision to close the clinic and switch the phones off for one hour per day. This will be between 12 and 1pm on weekdays. This will allow our staff to be able to finish procedures swiftly and be able to have much needed breaks. We hope you will understand and plan accordingly.
This will begin Monday 11th October 2021.
For any emergencies, please call the mobile phone on 0407 738 722
Casey's Beach Veterinary Clinic
The Blue House On The Beach!
We have a highly qualified and animal loving veterinary team offering everything you need to keep your pets happy and healthy. We cover everything from preventatives, vaccinations and routine surgeries through to X-ray, ultrasound, blood tests and more complicated cases.
Our goal is to enhance the quality of your pet's life.
As pet owners ourselves, we understand and help you nurture the special bond you have with your pet.
We have three vets on staff here at Casey's Beach Vets

Dr Sonja Heinemann DVM NVE special interests include integrative/holistic medicine, canine behaviour and nutrition.
We are a small, tight-knit team in a community much the same. We pride ourselves on getting to know our clients and their babies, whether they be furred, feathered or scaly.
We care for your pets through every stage of their life, from birth to old-age.
Your canine fur-babies also have the options of attending Puppy Preschool right here at the clinic and can continue with their socialisation by making friends in our popular Doggy Daycare.
We also have long-standing relationships with rescue organisations treating injured and orphaned wildlife, as well as companion animals through the work of RSPCA and the Animal Welfare League.
We have a team of vet nurses here at Casey's Beach Vets
Christine is our Head Vet Nurse. Christine has special interests in wildlife, exotics and assisting with ultrasonography/radiology and pathology. She is a mentor to our student nurses as well as "mum" to all staff. Christine also runs our Puppy Preschool.

Melissa, joined our surgery as our new vet nurse student, she is passionate about all animals big, small and scaly. She is looking forward to becoming fully qualified, and being able to utilise all her knowledge and skills to assist in animal health.
Heidi, Kennel Hand, she loves her horses and has a passion for wildlife. She lives with 4 small dogs who get very excited by the words, ‘chicken’ and ‘beach’.
Claire has special interests including animal behaviour and psychology. Claire is our bleeding-heart, always taking on new animals in need. Claire is currently on maternity leave after the birth of her son.
